I’m Kino Lee, a multi-artist currently based in London, originally from Taipei, Taiwan. My journey in music started with a degree in Classical Piano Performance from Fujen University, and later I earned a degree in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music. Over the years, I’ve explored various areas of music, from composing for video games and films to releasing solo piano albums. My work has been recognized globally with several awards for composition. Beyond music, I’ve ventured into directing films, exhibiting artwork, and writing musicals, driven by my passion for storytelling across different artistic mediums.

The Wind is one of my early compositions, which included in my first album Free Spirit. where I sought justice for the left hand with consistent harmonic shifts beneath a simple right-hand melody. This approach lets the left hand take on a busy, colorful role, adding layers of depth and movement. While composing, I imagined myself walking through Boston's parks and across its bridges, savoring the afternoon breeze as a fresh Berklee student, excited yet nervous about the new life that lay ahead. The piece captures both the serenity of these moments and the subtle tension of embarking on a new journey.
